The Brickland Brinks baseball team is suffering their worst start of the season ever. The team is currently 0-34 with no signs of any improvement. The team has decided to hold a bake sale with the proceeds from the event being used to buy baseball bats. It seems the pool sticks the players have been using since the start of the season, have failed to provide much run support. Stay tuned for the Paypal link to allow you to donate money to the team to buy equipment.

Brickland Fire and Rescue last week showed off their new hybrid fleet of rescue trucks. Unfortunately their attempts to go “green” has hit a snag. The manufacturer of the rescue failed to realize the correct scale of the trucks and currently there is no place in town the rescues can recharge. Fire chief Sparky Jones believes the situation will be resolved next week.
